HIGH CHAPARRAL - Sadler’s Wells-Kasora, by Darshaan
An exceptional racehorse, High Chaparral achieved a peak Annual Timeform Rating of 132 as a 4YO. However, he won at Group 1 level in each of his three racing seasons: the Racing Post Trophy at two, the English & Irish Derbys at three, the Breeders’ Cup Turf at three and four, and the Irish Champion Stakes as a 4YO.

At stud High Chaparral completes a great triumvirate of Sadler’s Wells sire sons, alongside Galileo and Montjeu. The 17 stakeswinners from his four New Zealand-bred crops include his best colts: champion So You Think (10 Group 1 wins in Europe and Australia, including two Cox Plates), Shoot Out (Australian Derby G1 and four other Group 1 races), Descarado (Caulfield Cup G1 & Caulfield Stakes G1), Monaco Consul (Victoria Derby G1 & Spring Champion S. G1) and, of course, Dundeel.
